Job Description

Must be able to receive written and oral instructions as to specs, procedures, tolerances, and various construction and quality requirements
Follow standard practices and perform all work necessary to promptly and accurately obtain quality and quantity production
Follow plant Safety policies, Plant policies, Environmental policies, and keep work areas neat, clean, and orderly
Read specifications, use hand tools, tape measures and other gauging devices, to monitor current and ongoing product quality
Able to work in a fast paced environment and react quickly to equipment downtime or other extraordinary condition, and must notify supervision whenever such conditions occur
Possess and apply problem solving skills in case of machine cycle issues
Must be able to meet/exceed individual and plant production goals & standards
Must be able to effectively communicate with supervision, other personnel, and any supplying department supervision.
Function as an active team member. Includes coordination of work assignment with other Production Associate personnel in area.
Communicates workflow and other key information to oncoming or relief operator at shift overlaps and shift changes to minimize delays.
Reviews daily production schedules to assure knowledge of daily requirements and verifies correct materials/parts are selected based on product to be run.
Utilizes personal protective equipment and PPE as appropriate for assigned area.
Trains and cross trains new Production Associate when assigned.
Conducts visual examination of products, components and subassemblies for various processing defects such as blemishes, and missed operations and takes corrective action.
Prepares and records production performance data as required by the process and supervision and prepares appropriate written or computer based reports.

Job Requirements

Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Must be 18 years or older

Strong Communication skills
Ability to read and comprehend English
Ability to work as a part of a team
Ability to operate a computer and scanning devices
Ability to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift
Ability to work a 12 hour rotational shift - days, nights and weekends
Ability to work Overtime
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to bend, climb, squat, crawl, reach and twist frequently
Ability to lift 20-50 lbs. frequently
