Under general supervision of the Education Director at Lincoln Hills School/Copper Lake School, employee provides to assigned students instructional and educational services including assessing students for need, selection, and provision of appropriate instructional resources, providing guided and independent practice, evaluation of progress, and appropriate remediation. Qualifications: Evidence-based teaching methods, practices, and aids; knowledge of human behavior modification methods and philosophy; knowledge of interpersonal relations; knowledge of modern teaching methods and techniques and ability to apply them effectively; knowledge of educational psychology and curriculum planning; ability to evaluate students' progress and effectiveness of school programs; ability to function in a coordinated team effort by developing effective working relationships with staff and students; and excellent oral and written communication skills.SDL2017
