Physician

Reporting Relationship: CEO

General Summary of Responsibilities: The Family Practice Physician will provide comprehensive health wellness, preventative and medical care to patients through the lifespan, and obstetrical and gynecological care to include C-sections. The physician will also need to participate in programs and initiatives that improve the overall service provided by the OB/GYN Program. Furthermore, the physician will participate in the development of departmental policies, procedures and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and other control standards. Provides ambulatory care and services. Directs other health care clinical support staff, as well as, participates in quality assurance, quality improvement, peer review and special projects.

Board Eligible or certified as OB/GYN Physician in State of Nebraska

Completion of Internship or 4 years of OB-GYN Residency - required

Graduate of accredited medical school - Doctorate of Medicine

Licensed by the State of Nebraska as a Medical Physician or Doctor Osteopathy or Eligible for Licensure within an agreeable time frame
